Joseph K. Windels is a Correspondent for Sims Mortgage Funding, Inc. (SMF). He has over 20 years of experience with FHA mortgage insurance programs, along with other types of government sponsored grant/loan programs. Mr. Windels has been actively involved with the origination and processing of mortgage loan applications resulting in loan commitments in excess of $900 million. He possesses strong knowledge of HUD’s underwriting and application processing requirements including the Multifamily Accelerated processing (MAP) Program. Mr. Windels’ responsibilities include but are not limited to new business development, project analysis and application processing.

Mr. Windels received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. John’s University in 1979 with minor degrees in business and political science. In 1988, he received a diploma in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

Mr. Windels is a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and Public Notary.
